The newly established CIC Booster aims to protect, strengthen, and support the Long Beach Poly CIC program for years to come. Our goal is to provide support in the form of fundraising to enrich CIC students’ learning experiences with additional classroom resources, fieldtrips, and scholarships.
Membership
Membership will be available through a tiered donation system and will be open to adults who are parents, guardians, teachers, alumni and general supporters of the CIC program. All funds will go to support the program, students, and classroom needs. For a limited time, when you join you will have the chance to win a pair of Apple AirPods. Meetings
Booster meetings will be held once per semester and will generally be held during the week of Back to School Night and Open House. All parents/guardians, alums, and community members are welcome!

Spirit Wear
CIC branded t-shirts and hoodies are available for pre-order. LIMITED STOCK ONLY. Purchase now and students can pick up the week of October 18 from the CIC Club at lunch in Ms. Larsen’s classroom. Exact day and details for pick up will be shared by October 11.
Tailgate
Join us for the Poly v. Compton game at Veteran’s Stadium on Friday, October 15! We will be set up starting at 5:30pm. Keep an eye out for the CIC Booster banner. Middle schoolers who bring a school ID will have free entrance to the game. Bring your dinner and join the fun! Socialize with other CIC/Poly families, introduce your middle schooler to the Poly fun, show your support for the program, get more details about the booster, and have any questions answered. We hope to see you there!
Join a Booster Committee
We are actively looking for additional volunteers to join our committees. Many hands make light work! And we would love additional support. Please reach out to cicbooster@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out in any of the areas below.
Communication/Publicity - Are you social media savvy? Outgoing and extroverted? Or have a background in media? Help us get the word out about the CIC Booster and share the latest info.
Fundraising - Enjoy party planning? Have connections with the community? Just want to pitch in to assist in the biggest area of need? Fundraising is the backbone to all that we do and the support that we provide.
Scholarship - Chair position is open. One of our goals is to provide scholarships to graduating CIC seniors. Work with CIC Lead Teacher, Ish Pluton, and Support Teacher, Jeff Inui, to establish scholarship criteria, application, and awarding process.
