Harlee Balajadia, CIC Class of 2014, holds a B.A. in Classical Voice Performance and Vocal Music Education from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB. He is now the Choral/Vocal Music Teacher at Hughes Middle School in the Long Beach Unified School District.

“CIC was such an integral program in my academic career that still has lasting impressions on the person I am today. The outlook and perspective to be an international leader of cross-culture socialization would not have been possible if not for teachers at Poly and CIC to have harbored and nurtured the ideology and mentorship from their lived experiences that CIC builds it’s foundation on to inspire students and future leaders to cultivate for future generations. The representation of not only the vision of CIC - but the very students and alumni that come from this program stand testament to the American Diversity we strive so strongly to show for the rest of the world. The preparation of not only academic rigor, but being able to harbor and nurture personable skills and interactions build a network of long-lasting limitless possibilities into the future of the nation.”
